Potenza RF microneedling is a minimally-invasive skin service that is usually well-tolerated by patients. This treatment can occur in a doctor's office or a medical spa. The duration of treatments may vary, but they typically last 45 minutes or less.

You can expect your microneedling treatment to be fairly simple. Your provider will start by applying numbing cream to the surface of your skin to keep it comfortable during the treatment. A handheld device will be passed over your skin to treat concerns such as deep wrinkles and acne scarring. 

Our team uses the Potenza device, which has ultrafine needles and RF energy, to penetrate the area of concern and target the deep layers of the skin. You may return to normal activities following your session, but you should use gentle products and avoid unprotected sun exposure for the full week after a session.

How Many Potenza Treatments Will I Need?

The number of Potenza treatments you will need will depend on many factors, including the severity of your condition, your age, your skin type, and your response to treatment. Most people will need between 3 and 6 treatments to see significant results.
